Success Story

• The Biogas plant at Rusaifa has proved success as an environmentally sound and efficient technology that utilizes municipal solid waste for the production of electricity and bio-fertilizer. The plant was operated in the year 2000 to produce 7 million kW.h yearly. Based on the success of this project, the capacity was extended to 3.5 MW and funded by Greater Amman Municipality.
