TESTING

 

PV section provides many facilities for both field and lab testing:

In the field, the following testing possibilities are available:

 

  • I-V curve tracer. For testing the characteristics of the PV modules

  • Solar Radiation

  • Power measurements (active power, reactive power, power factor....)

  • Data logging for all parameters related to PV systems such as DC current, DC voltage, solar radiation, ambient temperature, module temperature, inverter frequency, water flowrate, pumping head). The data logger has the capabilities to scan all parameters every two seconds and to save averages on 10 minutes basis. Many data loggers are available for this commission.

    In the Lab. The following testing facilities are available:

  • Solar simulator

  • I-V curve tracer

  • PV water pumping system

  • PV stand-alone system

  • Grid connected system

  • Bi-directional configuration

  • Battery charging system

  • Power analysis (DC, single phase and 3 phases)
