Selection of technologies and feasibility analysis of small and medium size RE plants
NERC in conjunction with local water and power authorities in Jordan can reduce the large deficit of well equipped and reliably operated de-central water and power points for villages and in rural areas through developing their own capacity for flexible, innovative, fast and cost-effective assessment of technically and socio-economically appropriate solutions.
Therefore, NERC has participated during the period from 1/7/2005 to 31/12/2006 in the CEC project titled "Renewable Energy SYStems for DESALination", RESYSproDESAL, which is exactly as software tool for the prediction of the technical and economic performance of de-central integrated water and power supply systems.
A website titled RESYSproDESAL_WEB addresses engineers and project planners from water authorities and water related industries in MENA countries who are involved in selection of technologies and feasibility analysis of small and medium size plants.
