The village had been connected to the national electric grid in year 1996, hence the hybrid system was disconnected . The two wind turbines of this system were connected to the national electric grid too. A third wind turbine was added and connected to the grid in 1997.

A small wind battery charger developed at NERC. It is capable of providing small quantities of electrical energy to a variety of end users in remote areas. The system is rated from 500 W to 1000 W
